How do you evaluate the roles of women in family/personal and work life in the context of gender equality? What are you doing to ensure equality in both work and family life? What steps should be taken for equal, quality, and inclusive education in the new century?
Gender equality is a principle that advocates for women and men to have equal rights, opportunities, and responsibilities in both work and personal life. At Architecht, we embrace this principle and develop all our processes with a human-centered approach. We view the roles of women in family/personal and work life as critically important for achieving gender equality. In this regard, we have developed various policies and practices to understand the challenges women face in the workplace and to help them overcome these challenges.
Regarding the steps that need to be taken to ensure equal, quality, and inclusive education in the new century, we believe that education systems should be enriched with content that promotes gender equality. Especially in recent times, inclusive steps have been taken in this area. Supporting and encouraging these steps is crucial. Increasing examples in educational programs that break gender stereotypes and show both genders in different roles, and encouraging girls to pursue fields like science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are important. Additionally, educating teachers on gender equality and instilling this awareness in children from preschool onwards will help future generations develop a more equitable worldview.
Finally, establishing strong collaborations between the business world and the education sector to develop programs that will increase women's participation in the workforce and support their career advancement is an essential part of this process. As Architecht, beyond being an employer that supports gender equality, we also aim to spread these values throughout society.
What practices do you have in place to increase female employment in your company?
At Architecht, 33% of our management team consists of female managers, a representation above the industry average. Additionally, 2 of our 4 deputy general managers are women, and 37% of our overall organization is made up of female employees. These figures demonstrate that women play active roles in leadership and decision-making processes and reflect our company's commitment to supporting gender equality.
To ensure equality in work and family life and to increase female employment, we offer a range of rights and opportunities for our female employees. These include maternity leave, part-time work, flexible and remote work options, postgraduate education incentives, and leave for the first day of school and report card days, all of which support women in balancing their roles in both family and work life. Furthermore, we provide our female employees with the right to work entirely remotely for three years after giving birth, enabling them to maintain a balance between their professional and personal lives. All these inclusive practices have significantly reduced turnover among our female employees, and I would like to note that the loyalty rate among our female employees is well above the industry average.
In summary, at Architecht, we are always by the side of our female colleagues by offering processes and practices that meet their most important needs during their career journeys.
