Two Senior Appointments at Financial Technology Company Architecht

Architecht, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuveyt Türk, Türkiye's leading participation financial institution, continues to grow. Two new deputy general managers were appointed to the company, which develops digital products and services for the finance sector with its 800 employees in Teknopark Istanbul. 

Architecht, which designs the end-to-end financial technology processes of many banks and financial institutions in Türkiye and abroad and is one of the most important technology providers in the banking sector, continues to grow.   Architecht, which closed 2024 as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Türkiye with its global products offered to the financial world and its ever-increasing customer portfolio, welcomed the new year with two senior appointments.  

In the statement made by the company, it was stated that a new deputy general manager's office named Corporate Architecture and Artificial Intelligence was established in order to follow new generation technologies and expand them to all applications, to keep the infrastructure constantly updated in accordance with open banking and new business models, and to increase the focus on productive artificial intelligence in the coming periods and to expand it to the entire company.   Zeynep Erdoğan, Digital Banking Application Development Manager, was appointed as Deputy General Manager in charge of Corporate Architecture and Artificial Intelligence to this new position in the organization.

With the transfer of Zeynep Yasemin Tekşen Altaş, Architecht Deputy General Manager Responsible for Digital Banking and Payment Systems, to Kuveyt Türk Information Technologies Group Management, Derviş Kanbur, Card Systems Development Manager, became the new Deputy General Manager of Architecht.   Kanbur will continue to serve as Deputy General Manager of Digital Banking and Payment Systems in the new period.

Who is Zeynep Erdoğan?

Mrs. Erdoğan graduated from Istanbul Technical University Computer Engineering in 2005 and started working as a Software Engineer at Kuveyt Türk Information Technologies Group in the same year. In her professional life, she has assumed critical roles in the realization of many financial projects, especially banking technological transformation projects. In 2014, Zeynep Erdoğan completed her master's degree in Engineering and Technology Management at Doğuş University. Since 2013, she has managed many different teams in the fields of digital banking and application development. In the projects she led, she pioneered the development of innovative digital infrastructures and solutions that prioritize user experience. As a guest lecturer at Yalova University, she shares her knowledge in the academic field. In 2022, when Architecht and Kuveyt Türk Information Technologies teams joined forces, Mrs. Erdoğan had served as Digital Banking Application Development Manager and was appointed as Deputy General Manager Responsible for Corporate Architecture and Artificial Intelligence as of January 2025.

Who is Derviş Kanbur?

Mr. Kanbur graduated from Gebze Technical University, Department of Computer Engineering in 2009 and started working as a Software Engineer at Kuveyt Türk Information Technologies Group in 2011. After working on various projects in the Payment Systems and Alternative Distribution Channels departments, he assumed critical roles as a Corporate Architect in the team that developed the BOA Banking and Technology Platform. As of 2016, Kanbur worked as a Service Manager in the Card Payment Systems teams and completed his master's degree in Computer Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 2018. Derviş Kanbur, who has a deep expertise in Payment Systems, led the development and productization processes of the BOACard Payment Systems Platform, which offers end-to-end card payment infrastructures. In 2022, when Architecht and Kuveyt Türk Information Technologies teams joined forces, Mr. Kanbur had been promoted to Card Systems Development Manager and was appointed as Deputy General Manager Responsible for Digital Banking and Payment Systems in January 2025.
