ApiGo Joins the Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 Advisory Board

Developed by the Turkish technology company Architecht, ApiGo is a cloud-based open banking solution that helps financial institutions build PSD2-compliant applications. The platform has officially joined the Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 Advisory Board.

Open Banking is becoming increasingly vital for financial institutions. Through Open Banking solutions, traditional financial institutions can grant third-party access to their products and services, while fintech companies develop value-added solutions that enhance the traditional financial ecosystem. One of the key components of Open Banking — API solutions — has therefore become a major area of innovation for fintechs worldwide.

Developed by Architecht, ApiGo is an end-to-end SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform that provides PSD2-compliant Open Banking services for banks and financial institutions. With its compliance to the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2), ApiGo aims to simplify regulatory processes for banks and enable both traditional financial institutions and fintechs to create new business models within the Open Banking ecosystem.

Winner of the Stevie Award for excellence in innovation, ApiGo has now joined the Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 Advisory Board. The board currently includes 26 major players from 10 Eurozone countries as well as the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia, Serbia, and Switzerland — collectively representing more than 25 billion bank and credit cards.

The Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 initiative aims to ensure the effective separation of payment schemes and processing activities necessary to deliver efficient SEPA payment services across Europe.
