What is PowerFactor?

Designed to provide simple and secure authentication for banking and financial mobile applications, PowerFactor is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution.
Also known as a multi-step verification method, it authenticates the customer’s device through the “device-as-a-token” approach, allowing users to access their mobile banking app by setting a six-digit PIN. Users may also add a biometric layer for enhanced security and password-free access to their accounts.

Through its passwordless approach, PowerFactor enables customers to log in quickly without using traditional passwords. In transaction verification, it enhances security by supporting additional confirmation channels such as smartwatches or QR codes alongside mobile and web authentication.
Thanks to its advanced security infrastructure, PowerFactor effectively prevents network attacks and other transaction-level risks. In the event of a fraud attempt, it immediately strengthens security measures to protect users’ accounts from cybercriminals.

Easy to Deploy and Fully Compliant

PowerFactor can be easily deployed and operates both as a SaaS solution and on local cloud environments. It also provides financial institutions with a dedicated management interface to monitor transactions, performance, and errors. Through this panel, institutions can configure channel features and manage customer activations.
